This photo was taken in St Mary's Monastery in New York. Upon arrival, the pews had been precariously piled up. My associate and I began the arduous task of setting them and the pulpit back into place, quietly because construction was going on next door, and carefully since parts of the floor down to the basement were missing. The organ can be seen still intact on the right.
Custom designed concept frame. Tobacco barn wood paired with 4 antique rusted hand saws. Each saw’s decoratively detailed manufacturer emblem has been reused for the securing of the frame’s glass.
All materials hand cut.
