Stained Glass – Psychiatric Hospital


Taken in one of the many buildings at a huge psychiatric hospital. There is actually a huge room-sized hole in the floor right in front of the camera’s tripod that descends two stories below. Note the beautiful decorative ceiling tiles above.


Custom designed frame. The base of the frame comes from a reclaimed 1940’s Russian ammo crate. Glass and photo are secured by metal channel.

Each wooden display is unique in its own way. They have been left in their current vintage state to reflect the subject matter. This includes varying degrees of weathering, slight chips, tarnish, and old nail holes.
